SEIZE THE GAME

Your weekly newsletter for news, events, and happenings at Pipestone Indoor Country club.

We are hiring and looking to grow the Pipestone Indoor team for the winter season and would like to start with advertising to our loyal customers that follow along here on The Pipeline. Please see the article below for specific details regarding the job as well as how to contact us and apply.

In other news, we have kicked off the first ever multi-location tournament that we have offered here at PICC and we are off to a great start. One of our loyal customers is currently atop the leaderboard at -3 and all participants are representing the SW Michigan golf community well. Don't forget that the tournament will be offering a cash prize to both the top three gross and top three net (New Perio) scores so there is still plenty of space to participate and win.

Finally, a friendly reminder that things are cooling down outside which means they are heating up here. As the weather continues to cool down, you may want to plan ahead with tee times here at PICC. Call us or book online in advance if there are certain days/times that work best for you to avoid missing out on your desired time.

The Crew at PICC

We are looking to bring on three additional part time workers for the months of November-March. The job will be 10 hours per week, at a minimum, with main responsibilities including helping customers with starting their tee times, cleaning the facility, and working the front desk. The job pays minimum wage or $9.45 per hour for the rest of 2020 and $9.65 per hour starting in 2021. Employees can also enjoy the added perk of discounted simulator time which may be very appealing to golfers. The main shifts we will be looking for help with will be mornings and nights on the weekends but can always be flexible. Must be 18 years old to apply.

If you, or someone you know, are interested in the opportunity please e-mail dustinlester@pipestoneindoor.com and attach a resume and Dustin will reach out to applicants with next steps. Please also e-mail Dustin if you have any questions about the job.

Apply to become part of the team today and help us in allowing our customers to Seize the Game!

Our first ever multi-location tournament is now live! The tournament is 9-hole, individual stroke play taking place on the back 9 of Spyglass Hill. All you need to do to enter is book a tee time, pay the normal rate for the tee time booked + the $10 tourney fee per person and you will be ready to compete.

The top 3 places for both the best gross score and best net score (New Perio) will walk away with some cash. The minimum prize pool is $400 which is likely to grow as participation increases.

CANCELLED

We have yet to have any entries in the October Bestie Buster and as a result will be cancelling for this month and the month of November. Instead, we are going to encourage participation in the North American Open. For any teams that are owed entries to future tournaments, those entries will remain valid for future Bestie Busters when they return.

Please carefully consider your options for your indoor golf this fall/winter! Due to our demand, you will notice a small increase in hourly rates but for our regular customers this should not impact you significantly if you take advantage of our membership or league pricing.

Our annual commitment memberships (billed monthly) will now be:

  • Par - $25 per month - This locks in an hourly rate for you at $20 per hour regardless of day/time.
  • Birdie - $50 per month - This locks in an hourly rate for you at $17.50 per hour regardless of day/time.
  • Eagle - $100 per month - This locks you in an hourly rate of $15 regardless of day/time.

You can find more details about the perks and benefits of membership on our website.

In these unprecedented times we strive to make the greatest effort possible to reduce the risk of exposure to our customers. There is no perfect method to eliminate risk, if you find our procedures and policies unsatisfactory or non-agreeable we ask that you come back again after we return to a state of pre-pandemic normalcy. Until then, we pay attention to recommendations and information provided by the CDC as well as comparable industry best-practices. Our updated procedures/policies are now on our website and they can be viewed by clicking the "Learn More" button that pops up when scrolling the site.
