Hello Fellow Golf Faithful!
Fall golf in Michigan is upon us and it is a fickle, yet beautiful, time of year for golfers in Southwest Michigan. The leaves are showing signs of changing and the grass is undeniably green on most courses. For us at Pipestone Indoor Country Club, things are only ramping up and we are excited to welcome all of you back to our indoor facility for reliable climates and lies when mother nature has other plans for outdoor golf.
We have some exciting updates in this edition of the Pipeline and plan on providing more regular updates as the indoor golf season returns. In this edition, we will be sharing positive news that it isn't too late to sign up for our winter league if you are interested, an event that we have coming up to kickoff the season aligned with the Benton Harbor Arts District's Fall Art Hop, and the return of one of our customer's favorite monthly tournaments.

The Crew at PICC
BHAD Winter Golf League
Registration for our winter league is filling up quick! We have a couple of spots available, but act now to enjoy some fun, competitive, and regular winter season golf because the only way to guarantee your spot is to complete the league payment of $300 per golfer.
We will be returning to an A flight and B flight format where the A flight handicap will be capped (current cap expected to be a handicap of 5 or below) and the B flight will be for all handicaps. Ultimately, you can choose to play in either flight but if you choose to play in the A flight your max handicap will be capped. Please be sure to contact me at dustinlester@pipestone.golf if interested with your payment information handy and we will get you locked in.
We will run the league over 20 weeks starting the week of October 10th and anticipate wrapping everything up prior to the end of March which includes two position rounds and a championship week (free of charge) for those that compete in the finals.
HUGE UPDATE!!! We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Journeyman Distillery to sponsor this year's BHAD league! Journeyman has been a great partner for Pipestone Golf not only at Pipestone Indoor but also at Pipestone Creek GC and we are excited to continue the partnership. What this means for those that register for the league; we will have some exciting prizes for the winners (beyond your name going on the plaques of fame) and promos for all participants throughout the season as outlined below:
- 2 Championship Prize Packages (both the A and B flight winners will get a trip to the distillery that will include tours, tastings, and a free round of putting at our putting green)
- Golf towels for every participant
- Other small swag giveaways throughout the season
- Multiple events where Journeyman is on-site with a tasting table to engage with league members and provide free samples
We can't thank Journeyman Distillery enough for this exciting partnership and hope that all participants get a chance to feel the value that this adds to the league!

Indoor Golf Season Kickoff
We will be hosting an open house on Friday, October 14th from 4:00-8:00 pm to celebrate the beginning of the indoor golf season in SW Michigan aligned with the Fall Art Hop in downtown Benton Harbor.
All simulators will be fired up for people that are new or returning to simulator golf, along with a tasting from a local maker, and tunes from a local favorite DJ. We plan on having a food truck onsite as well, but more details to come on that as plans continue to crystalize.
If you needed an excuse beyond coming to Pipestone Indoor to visit the historic downtown Benton Harbor, the art hop is guaranteed to be a good time for checking out other business in the area along with some of the craftsmanship of SW Michigan's finest artists.
No registration is required and feel free to spread the word with friends so you can pop in when time allows. Also, before we forget, we will be running a promo of 50% off all gift certificate purchases up to $200 (a total potential savings of $100 per customer) during the duration of the event.
Come check us out, lounge in our space, maybe swing a couple clubs, enjoy some tunes, and indulge in some of our adult beverage options if you feel so inclined.
It's Back Baby!!!
Pipestone Indoor Country Club's fan favorite two-man best ball is back effective immediately! The Bestie Buster is something that our loyal customers have been asking about for months and we are happy to announce that we will be returning the format at Quail Hollow, the site of the most recent President's Cup.
The Bestie Buster Tournament is a monthly flex schedule best-ball tournament which allows you and a teammate to compete for your chance at a $200+ grand prize along with prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well.
How it works: Your team can compete any day of the month, as many times as you want. The lowest team score after the month has ended will win the cash prize. The cash prize will be a minimum of $200 and can go up based on participation.
Best Ball Format: You and your teammate will play your own ball for your 18 hole round. The best individual score on each hole will be used to determine your team’s score. The lowest team score for the month wins.
Cost: Competing in the Bestie Buster requires a $10 tournament fee in addition to the standard hourly rate for the time of your booking. It is a team competition and both participants are required to pay the $10 tournament fee. A 2-hour reservation is required to allow both members to finish their 18-hole round. An additional $10 can be paid to opt-in to a skins competition. Prize for the skins competition will depend on results and participation.
You must have a Golfzon login in order to participate and you can either create a login online through Golfzon or inquire about how to set one up while visiting.

Membership has it's benefits...
Our memberships are likely our most beneficial and robust offering, especially for those that know they will be in regularly or want to set up recurring appointments. Membership hourly rates are good regardless of what day/time you book your tee time AND only one member needs to be present in the room in order for the entire session to be covered at the membership rate.
There are benefits to membership beyond a discounted hourly rate including retail discounts, a free Golfzon membership card to track your handicap and past rounds, AND reduced league fees that would be based on your membership hourly rate instead of the league pricing. Also, don't forget that at the beginning of the summer we added the Eagle membership benefit of including a Single Membership to Pipestone Creek Golf Course. If you start to do the math, things can really add up for you if interested.
Memberships are an annual commitment and are built like a subscription service where the recurring fee will be charged to the credit card you start the membership with on a monthly basis. Once you have made 12 payments you will have the option to either continue your membership automatically or to discontinue your membership without penalty.
